PlayStation 3 goes from 2 million sold in France and ahead of XBOX 360
Yesterday we discussed the growth that is experiencing the star of Sony console, which is leading him to triple their numbers in Japan territory. Today we learned, according to official data from the Japanese company, that the PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system has surpassed the two million sales in the French market in a period of less than two years (March 2, 2007 to present).
Following this success, Sony PlayStation 3 would be located above the 400,000 units produced by direct competitor to Microsoft, XBOX 360 (which, moreover, has almost two more years in the market, late 2005). This is really an interesting fact if one takes into account the ratio of units sold and sales time, which is obviously favorable to the Japanese.
From Sony Europe France, CEO George Fornay amply demonstrated their pride in the marketing strategy being practiced and by, in his opinion, demonstrably superior capabilities of the PS3, which is leaving in a clear second place to the XBOX 360.
The same Fornay further clarified that under the provisions that handles Sony, expect this positive rate is maintained and even become even more virulent after the launch buzz of eagerly anticipated titles such as Heavy Rain, MAG or God Of War III, successor the magnificent God Of War I and II (also exclusive, but for PS2).
