Capcom does not arise launch new rendition of "Onimusha" and "Dino Crisis"
Despite its past success, doubt the "pull" commercial that may be present
Two of the great sagas of Capcom who triumphed in the past generations of consoles (32 and 128 bits), could become a mere memory of the past to the company's refusal to resume them soon Japan.

Christian Svensson, Vice President of Strategy at Capcom, they said in recent statements, in the case of Onimusha, Svensson doubt the attractiveness of a series so focused on Japanese culture

"The return of Onimusha is complicated because a series so focused on Japanese culture. When you look at the sales you've got, you see that each sequel has sold 60% of the previous Game, so the brand does not have the capacity recovery might think. While Onimusha 1 and 2 have been big hits, 3 and Dawn of Dreams not much. "

"I think it's a series that occasionally think, is not forgotten internally discuss, but do not think anyone has come up with an idea to bring back Onimusha and sell three or four million units. You may see things the series in the future, I can not say what, but is being discussed. "

"Dino Crisis", the other series in contention, remains in mind of the company although there are no plans for long-term future: "I think Dino Crisis 3 was the Game that we were wrong. The success of Dino crisis erupted after Resident Evil 1 and 2. "

"This debate, and Dino Crisis back out from time to time, but no urge to research and development, or business side, to give green light to the saga. Until you see someone with something really incredible, will be waiting. " Keep you informed.

YEt again, capcom has shown to have sbuolately noloyalty to its customers. I eman Mh was originally on the Psp system. Not only has there not been any US relese of the previous game, not its switching platform. Low blow.
