As has been happening in recent years, each time a new Call of Duty is about to see the light, the next installment officially confirmed by Activision, confirming the premise of a "Call of Duty every year."

Taking on 9 November a meeting with Black Ops Call of Duty, developed by Treyarch, the publisher confirmed today, through its director of operations Thomas Tipple, that the next Call of Duty "will be a Game in first person and will in the second half of 2011 "dispel doubts about the future of the series, or at least over the short term future.

However, it remains a mystery is the author of this new Call of Duty, Treyarch discarding the very logical reasons, we have only one hand, Infinity Ward, which is still in the process of recovering part of its Lost template and on the other hand, Sledgehammer Games, which has not yet been released to the franchise, could work in the future delivery and set aside the development of a so-called "spin-off" in the third person.
